Sunny Light.

Sunny Light is the quietest stone in this part of the catalogue, and that is its purpose. Almost no veining, a consistent pale beige ground, and enough uniformity that a large area can be laid without sorting or matching. When a floor plan changes late or a quantity has to be topped up, an even stone forgives what a figured one does not.

It shares the Sunny family sheet — 0.30 % absorption, 13,300 psi in compression — which puts it at the softer, more absorbent end of the range. That is a specification instruction, not a fault: it belongs on interior floors, walls, cladding and stairs, and wants sealing and real drainage anywhere water sits.

Polished, it brightens and warms slightly. Honed is the finish most of this stone is bought in — a soft matte that suits large calm rooms. Brushed and sandblasted add grip and a little texture.
