Sunny Gold carries more colour and more movement than Sunny Light: a honeyed ground with pale gold drifts running through it, quiet enough to lay in quantity but present enough to be seen. It is the compromise stone between an even field and a feature — warmth without a pattern that has to be matched piece by piece.

It answers to the Sunny family sheet, 0.30 % absorption and 13,300 psi in compression, which places it indoors: floors, wall cladding, stairs, reception faces, bathrooms with proper falls and sealing.

The gold intensifies under warm artificial light and flattens under cool daylight, so judge the sample where the stone will actually stand, and at the time of day the room is used.

Polished for depth, honed for a soft matte that suits large floors. Supplied as blocks, slabs and cut to size.
