Golden Sinai.

Golden Sinai comes from the eastern side of the country, and it behaves like it: the Sinai beds run a little denser than the valley beige. It shares the Milly sheet at 0.26 % absorption and 20,200 psi in compression, which is a meaningful step up from the Sunny family in a floor that will be walked on hard.

The colour is a warm gold-beige with quiet, close figuring — no drama, but more life than a plain cream. It sits comfortably next to timber and brass, and it holds its warmth under daylight rather than bleaching out.

Interior floors, cladding, stairs and reception areas; sheltered façades where the detailing keeps water moving off it.

Polished brings out the gold; honed is the everyday finish; brushed and sandblasted give a floor grip without changing the colour much. Supplied as blocks, slabs and cut to size.
