Silvia Menia.

Silvia carries the name of Menia — Minya, in Middle Egypt — one of the country's long-standing stone regions. It is pale, fine grained and deliberately unremarkable: where Milly Grey has weather in it, Silvia Menia is still.

That stillness is a specification, not an absence. Large areas need a stone that will not assert itself over four hundred square metres, and a fine even grain is the only thing that holds at that scale without becoming repetitive.

Use it as a field stone: floors, corridors, cladding, bathrooms, and any surface meant to carry the room rather than be the room. Polished for light, honed where footfall would dull a shine anyway.
